OPEN POSITIONS:

Information Analyst

The Information Analyst – Global Engineering & Operations Excellence will develop and maintain enhanced data analytics to support Global Engineering, Operations and Commercial Excellence initiatives and programs.

Reporting to the General Manager, this position will apply working knowledge of contemporary software tools, transactional process improvements and superior analytical skills in creating improved visibility in business trends and performance drivers, for enhanced decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an ongoing, clear, understanding of internal Customers’ (i.e. “Stakeholders”) evolving Data Analytics needs
Establish the cadence for prioritizing work efforts among various, sometimes competing, project needs
Prepare time-phased project plans to manage cross-functional project team task execution and report progress to BDI Senior Leaders
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of commercially available software tools / solutions to enable the efficient extraction of source data and conversion into useful Management information
Document and review “deliverables” specifications with Stakeholders prior to project initiation
Determine “best fit” analytical approaches and software tools to be employed
Develop a Stakeholder feedback process to ensure that project outputs / deliverables meet requirements

Essential Skills, Experience and Attributes:

BS Degree in Bus. Administration, Marketing or equivalent. Data Analysis concentration is preferred
“Hands On” experience implementing and utilizing cloud-based data analysis software packages to transform source ERP system (e.g. BPCS, Oracle, SAP, Sage), transactional data into information
Superior analytical skills, with instinctive ability to interpret information, identify key trends provide insights and suggest appropriate countermeasures or forward actions
High Emotional Intelligence (EQ); Enthusiastic, “can do”, collaborative outlook and style
Experience developing “Driver Based Forecasting” models is a “plus”
CRM system experience (e.g. SugarCRM / Salesforce.com / LeadMaster, etc.) is a “plus”
Experience participating in / leading cross-functional, transactional process improvement projects is a “plus”
LEAN/Six Sigma training or certification is a “plus”
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a “plus”
Global / International experience is a “plus”
